Higher Learning Potential

Provision for our higher learning potential students

Our students with higher learning potential (HLP) are identified through the use of prior data, our own baseline assessments and also through subject teacher identification. Our HLPs are provided with many opportunities in both the classroom, and through the encouragement of independent learning, to develop existing knowledge and skills across the curriculum. To further challenge and support our students in their journey to academic excellence we run mentoring programmes, seminars in thinking skills and mastery and extra-curricular activities to support their interests and visions for their future.
