GCSE Results 2017

GCSE results will be available to collect from 9.30 am on August 24th in the atrium.    If students are unable to collect them themselves they  can send along a proxy (eg a parent or relative) provided they have a letter signed by the student  giving the proxy  authorisation.   The sixth form team and Mr Haycock will be available on August 24th to help with any decisions regarding post-16 pathways following students’ results.

We are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results, with 72% of students achieving 5 or more passes including English and Maths. This makes us the highest achieving school in the local area, by some distance.

Our aim is to combine academic excellence with an incredibly strong pastoral system and an unrivalled range of extra-curricular opportunities.

We also aim to help your children develop into responsible, resourceful and resilient citizens. We strive for excellence in terms of exam results but also recognise that there is so much more to life and to education than just results. All of our students are offered opportunities to excel and are given the support they need to take advantage of these opportunities. Click on the 'Students' tab on our website to see the range of activities on offer. In addition to the many sporting and arts based clubs, there are trips abroad, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and clubs linked to all academic subjects. We are very to keen to work with parents and carers and recognise that your role is crucial to a successful school.

We are also mindful of our central role in the local community and we are always looking to develop new links with partners. We have many students from out of catchment areas and we are always happy to show parents/carers and students around our school. If you have any questions or would like to visit us during a normal working day, then please telephone 01525 219300 or email info@cedarsupper.org.uk
